Situated in a spectacular cliff-lined valley with views of the La Sal Mountains and Arches National Park, Professor Valley Ranch is a comprehensive development that includes a 9,000 sf residence, a 4,500 sf shop, an airplane hangar, stables, and greenhouse.

Many details of the house were custom designed including curved copper roofs, a spiral stairway that leads to a two-level book wall and library mezzanine, a playful kitchen, and custom woodwork throughout.

Sustainable features include a ground source heat pump mechanical system, in-floor heating, passive solar and photovoltaic systems, recycled and low energy-consuming materials, and selectively coated glazing.
